Moulder

Next the logs enter the moulder. Using 8 heads, this moulder profiles the cants from square logs into the final log profile all in one pass. The moulder can handle log sizes up to 14" square and speeds up 70' per minute. By using 8 heads, we can clean the cant of dirt & straighten it before they reach the final cutting heads, therefore producing a straight and smooth profiled logs. The moulder then pushes the log to its next destination.
